Conferences in Makhachkala and Kaluga

Konstantin Tsiolkovsky (1857-1935)

September 24, 2018

Last week, the members of our team participated in two conferences at a time. In Makhachkala, the first international conference "Problems of Mechanics and Control" has been organized, while Kaluga traditionally hosted the Tsiolkovsky Scientific Readings in commemoration of Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky, the Russian father of rocketry. Here are the presentations from Makhachkala:

Yaroslav Mashtakov and Stepan Tkachev

Direct Lyapunov Technique for Attitude Control Under Constraints

Dmitry Roldugin, Mikhail Ovchinnikov, and Vladimir Pen'kov
Periodic Attitude Motion of a Satellite with Active Magnetic Control System

Anna Nuralieva, Stepan Tkachev, and Aleksey Shestoperov
Nonlinear Attitude Control Algorithms for a Satellite with Non-Rigid Construction Elements

Danil Ivanov
Study of Identification Algorithms for Oscillatory Motion of Flexible Spacecraft Elements

As a Chair of Spaceflight Mechanics session, Prof. Ovchinnikov gave a plenary talk about main astrodynamical aspects of modern small satellite missions.

The Tsiolkovsky Readings in Kaluga were visited by Aleksey Shestoperov and Anna Nuralieva.

Aleksey Shestoperov, Danil Ivanov, Mikhail Ovchinnikov, Stepan Tkachev, and Mark Shachkov

Laboratory Tests of Control Algorithms Using the Testbed for Microsatellite Motion Modeling

Aleksey Shestoperov and Stepan Tkachev
Nonlinear Control Algorithms for a Satellite with Large Non-Rigid Elements

Anna Nuralieva
Mathematical Model of Motion for a Satellite with Flexible Elements
