First and foremost, we learned not to give up, be creative, and overcome any sort of difficulties together – with faithful friends, trustworthy colleagues and associates. Following the current tradition, let's take a look into the upcoming year. Very soon, on April 12, we will celebrate the anniversary of Yury Gagarin's first manned flight around the Earth. 60 years ago, he managed to surpass the gravity and enter the orbit. Now, we are bound to surpass all the issues using a simple, but effective Gagarin's motto: Let's go, toward the future!

|Defending the thesis, attacking the virus|
Despite the pandemic, the research at KIAM goes on! Sergey Shestakov's PhD dissertation defense, recently postponed from October 20 to December 1, has been completed successfully. The thesis research "Methods of designing and keeping tetrahedral satellite formations" brought Sergey a deserved degree by a consolidated opinion of the dissertation council. We congratulate Sergey and wish him future achievements!
