| Spring meetings of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), meetings of the International Astronautical Academy (IAF) and the International Programme Committee of the 66th International Astronautical Congress took place in Paris from the 23rd to the 26th March, 2015. Our group actively participates in congresses, conferences and symposia organized by the IAA and IAF, both through presentations and work in programme committees, as well as chairmanship of meetings and sessions of the events.
After the meeting of the programme committee of the upcoming Congress in Jerusalem we encountered Jean-Pierre Marec, the first chairman of the IAF Committee for astrodynamics (1965) and honorary editor-in-chief of Acta Astronautica journal, who had been rewarded with the IAF Distinguished Service Award (in the picture (left to right): Prof. Michael Ovchinnikov, member of the Committee for astrodynamics, Jean-Pierre Marec, the first chairman of the Committee, Prof. Anna Guerman, vice chairman of the Committee and Dr. Alfred Ng, current chairman of the Committee). The continuity of generations develops in our relations with these organizations. For many years Prof. V.A. Sarychev, chief researcher of our division, has been a member of IAA and actively worked as vice-president of the IAF.
